Position Overview:
The jobholder is responsible for building Ingram Micro Mobility’s (IMM) presence in the Enterprise / SME wireless market in China. The job will focus on the establishment of channel customers and partners that deliver Mobility solutions to the Enterprise / SME market.
One key responsibility of the role is the implementation of organizational product strategies in the generation of new business within current and new product categories. This role works closely with the marketing department to maximize the success of lead generation activities.
Initiative and extensive experience in B2B sales and marketing, preferably in Telecom sector, is required to ensure that the right product portfolios and vendor partners are brought into the business and that sell through targets are met. Proficiency in English is a must.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Management:
· Sell all IMM products and services (devices, accessories, software and solutions)
· Utilize multiple techniques to understand customers’ business (i.e. strategy, issues, threats, opportunities; current operations & environment; budget; stakeholders; buying preferences and political / emotional motivators)
· Collaborate with IMM product vendors to create customer solutions and to establish on-going sales and marketing opportunities (i.e. bundling, incentive campaigns, promotional offers, co-op deals and discussions)
· Working with internal (IMM) stakeholders, including logistics and distribution and finance to ensure ongoing development of IMM’s product base and service offerings
· Responsible for establishing a value-added reseller channel
· Present proposal to customer, emphasizing how it addresses their business needs and demonstrating / quantifying the value it brings to their business
Business Development:
· Develop strategies to identify new vendor opportunities for the business.
· Research, discover and analyze new business opportunities from the product side to compliment and grow Ingram Micro Mobility’s overall market offering in China
· Develop annual business plans with clear targets.
· Actively seek new innovative products and market opportunities that compliment the product portfolio resulting in increased GP and market share.
Vendor Relationship Management:
· Develop and maintain close relationships with vendors at all relevant levels, positioning IMM as the premier Enterprise distributor of their products
· Establish relationships with hardware manufacturers, systems integrators, wireless carriers, operating system suppliers, and content and application providers
· Integrate new vendors into Ingram Micro Mobility processes
Pricing and Margin:
· Work in conjunction with GM - Mobility to develop and execute pricing strategies to maximise profit for IMM China
Experience:
1 Requires five or more years of experience in sales, marketing or business development experience, preferably in Telecom and/or B2B sector
2 Degree or equivalent training in business or sales management
3 Experience within the Mobility industry including manufacturers, wireless carriers, distributors or retailers of Mobility products / solutions
Core Competencies:
1 High levels of enthusiasm, tenacity, initiative and self motivation
2 Understands needs of Enterprise / Small Business customer and channel partners
3 Ability to develop business plans and solutions
4 Proven track record of building strong relationship at all managerial levels
5 Strong negotiation skills
6 SME Market – knowledge of middle market and the ability to link consumer and enterprise players specifically Value-Added Resellers
7 Understands end-user Enterprise / SME customers and how to sell through multi-tier channel
8 Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills in English
9 Ability to prioritize and organize workload
10 Strong aptitude to learn and ability to adapt to change
11 Ability to work with minimal supervision using initiative when required
12 A team player with high level of personal integrity
13 Microsoft office experience in Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint
