职位描述
Position Duties and Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the successful candidate will:
- Perform activities relating to the procurement of technology equipment packages and components
- Interact with Quality and Project Management teams to achieve favorable commercial outcomes for the Company
- Strive to achieve, global and market area objectives
- Report progress relating to procurement phases of tendering, execution and delivery
- Utilise project specific documentation and prepare enquiry documents for tender to qualified suppliers as required
- Provide Sole Source Justification as required
- Perform commercial comparisons and coordinate technical evaluations of all offers;
- Write recommendations for award to Department Heads for acceptance and approval
- Prepare contract documents and purchase orders, ensuring agreements are captured accurately
- Seek formal approval for the award of contracts and purchase orders to suppliers
- Undertake desktop expediting and factory visits to determine work progress and expedite deliveries
- Maintain electronic and hardcopy records on file
- Read and interpret drawings and understand definition of scope
- Provide procurement service according to global and local project requirements
- Strive to control expenditure and keep records of savings achieved
- Enforce confidentiality agreements with potential suppliers
- Negotiation favorable commercial outcomes
- Maintain regular contact with suppliers to ensure correct supplier performance
- Maintain invoice processing register and bank guarantee register
Position Pre-requisites
- Minimum Bachelor degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management
- 5 years working experience in the Mining, Metallurgy or mechanical/electrical engineering industry is preferrd
- Minimum 2 years purchasing and/or sourcing experience
- Solid understanding and ability to read technical specifications and drawings
- Good knowledge and understanding of legal, financial and commercial terms
- Strong English language skills are highly desirable
- Be a team player and enjoy being part of a dynamic working environment
