REPORTS TO: General Manager

DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

A. Production management

l Work with the production manager to manage the production team, including hiring, training & developing, performance assessment to ensure the production team efficiency and meet the production targets.

l Monitor the production plan execution to ensure timely quality product delivery according to customer requirements.

l Working with technical process manager and IE to lead the team to optimize the working process and procedures to improve efficiency and quality.

l To ensure the team to follow all policies and disciplines and make sure the working environment safe and comfortable.

B. Engineering & Maintenance management

l Work with engineering & maintenance manager to manage the engineering & maintenance team, set up team performance targets and tracking system.

l Ensure PM program and plan in place and well tracking the execution.

l Ensure continuous improvement to plant technology.

l Ensure equipment innovation and maintenance for plant normal operation.

C. EHS Management

l To make sure all operations are aligned with EHS regulations

l Prepare for internal and external audits related to EHS.

l Manage and guide the EHS engineer to initiate and implement all EHS related activities to make sure the plant a safe and healthy place to work in.

Skills/Education/Experience:

• University degree in Chemistry, Automation, Machinery, Industrial Engineering or other related fields.
• Excellent communication skills and leadership in both English and Chinese
• Organizational/Motivational leadership skills coupled with strong technical and analytical ability. Sound judgment with effective operational focus. Problem solving abilities for short and long term resolution.
• Must be able to relate and interact effectively with individuals at all levels in the organization. Effective communication skills. Demonstrate creativity/innovation/initiative and strategic effectiveness.
• 10+ years above progressive managerial experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to successfully manage large manufacturing environments.
• Proven track record for making improvements and exceeding budget or forecast numbers.
• Ability to analyze production issues and provide sound solutions.
