职位表述和要求:
This position will be responsible for providing machinery support for operating plants and commissioning support for new plants in Company, China. His/Her mainly responsibility shall be the Air Product plants in SAP, China.
The incumbent shall be located in SAP, China ( Guangzhou ).
Core Responsibilities
? Responsible for all aspects of Machinery engineering design, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance and optimizations of machinery in China. The machinery includes all types of compressors, steam turbines, expanders, blowers, gearboxes, cooling towers, fin-fans and all types of pumps including cryogenic pumps.
? Provide machinery diagnostics services in troubleshooting and resolving machinery issues using vibration diagnostics tools and failure analysis techniques. This includes issuing failure analysis reports and cost effective recommendations for reliability improvements.
? Carry out turbo-machinery health and performance assessment and provide assessment reports to GO teams on a quarterly basis.
? Carry out reciprocating compressors health and performance assessment and provide assessment reports to GO teams on a quarterly basis.
? Develop machinery job-packs for large machinery overhauls.
? Facilitate root cause failure analysis investigations on machinery and provide RCA reports and follow-up on RCA recommendations till closure.
? Initiate and implement reliability and/or efficiency improvement initiatives and best practices on operating machinery.
? Lead the “bad actor resolution” program to resolve machinery bad actors so as to increase reliability and machinery availability.
? Lead machinery reliability initiatives to increase machinery reliability and reduce maintenance cost.
? Provide installation and commission support for new large machinery [ eg. Compressors, turbines, ]
? Provide technical support and supervision in the overhaul of large rotating machinery [ mainly compressors, blowers, turbines ].
? Provide machinery training to operation and maintenance personnel.
? Provide technical support in the selection and review of new machinery for existing and new plants.
? Provide technical support in re-rate of existing machinery for plant optimization initiatives.
? Develop, implement, and/or maintain effective predictive and preventive maintenance programs for machinery.
Principal Accountabilities
? Identify, communicate, implement and maintain "best practices" and procedures
? Develop and implement initiatives to improve the safety, reliability, or efficiency of rotating equipment.
? Identify cost savings opportunities in spare parts by leveraging reverse engineering skills and experience to repair or make ourselves..
? Participant in the installation and commissioning of large rotating and reciprocating equipment for new plants.
? Develop, implement, and/or maintain effective predictive and preventive maintenance programs in China that are consistent across the global organization.
? Regularly evaluate effectiveness of maintenance programs and modify accordingly to insure optimum reliability and cost benefits are maintained as they relate to China.
? Continually work with Country Maintenance Manager, GO Line Manager to drive productivity and cost savings and enhancement through improved work process and equipment performance.
? Analyze data to reduce operating and maintenance costs related to machinery performance using sound technical engineering review of data and processes.
? Implement and manage engineering requirements to satisfy machinery selection, maintenance and reliability initiatives for maintenance teams that comply with Global GO initiatives and programs.
? Actively participant in safety programs, promote, and enforce safety rules and good housekeeping methods.
? Promoted an atmosphere of team spirit through good example, open communication, good listening and timely problem resolutions.
Qualifications / Requirements
? Possess a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
? Minimum of 5 yrs of experience in rotating equipment machinery design, application, engineering and maintenance.
? Technical knowledge and experience in design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of large rotating equipments [eg. centrifugal compressors, reciprocating compressors, steam turbines ].
? Experience in centrifugal compressor and steam turbine operation, maintenance and troubleshooting is essential.
? Experienced in large rotating equipment installation, support start-up and lead machinery commissioning.
? Familiar and well verse with machinery vibration diagnostics skills and machinery troubleshooting skills.
? Well verse with root cause analysis techniques.
? Additional experience in maintenance, heat exchangers, pressure system, process safety, mechanical integrity and work process management a strong plus.
? Strong verbal and written communications skills a must with the ability to work across culturally.
? Able to communicate in English ( spoken & written ) is essential.
? Demonstrated ability to work independently and make sound decisions required.
? Strong organizational, planning, interpersonal and communication skills are essential
? Willingness to travel within China to provide machinery support to existing and new plants.
