POSITION TITLE: Analytical Chemist (Temp) 分析化学师(劳务派遣)

REPORT TO: Group Leader

DEPARTMENT: China GTC

LOCATION: Huangpu, China

BUSINESS JUSTIFICATION

Working on analytical lab in China GTC. Deliver the lab testing to support product grid projects, raw material qualification projects and apply statistics and other data interpretation techniques to assist in overcoming technical difficulties.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITY:

• Qualify analytical instruments (IQ/OQ/PQ) according to qualification plan
• Troubleshoot basic instrument problems
• Has in depth knowledge of the field of analytical chemistry
• Apply statistics and other data interpretation techniques to assist in overcoming technical difficulties
• Conduct applied research independently
• Conduct search on Internet to obtain information
• Prepare training materials and provide training to other labs and analyst
• Conduct Method Validation for test method used in new backbone
• Conduct lab/analyst qualification
• Implement applicable Corporate Quality Standards/EOHS requirements, ensure GLP in the lab and compliance

Internal: Global Analytical group, Chemists from Category PD and I&S, PDM group, Regulatory/Legal, Technical service, QA from Manufacturing, Quality/EOHS coordinator

External: Raw Material suppliers, External research labs

EDUCATION AND /OR EXPERIENCE:

Education:

M.S. in Analytical Chemistry (preferred), Chemistry, Biochemistry or other related fields

BS degree in Analytical Chemistry or other related fields

Experience:

M.S. 0-2 years experience in Fast Moving Consumer Goods industry

BS 2-3 years of relevant experience

Special Knowledge:

· Strong communication skills in written and oral English;

· Familiar with office software: word, excel, power point, etc.
