Job Purpose
Responsible for the provision of technical sales support for LV Drives. Operates as primary BU liaison for regional product and application input within the assigned geography.

Key Responsibilities
DO
Lead LV Drives warranty cost reduction efforts for assigned region
Complete “FQL’ documentation to track TC activities
Collaborate with LVD product managers, FQL, PCAM’s, distributor specialist, CSM field service engineers and Technical Support Center TSC)
Provide pre-sales technical support to assure proper drive application
Point of contact for coordinating and supporting product issues (quality, application, etc.) as per issue resolution process
Must be capable of in-depth review of drive applications, including installation, enclosure selection, environmental conditions, power quality, sizing etc.
Undertake ‘proof of concept’ work, where required.
Support commercial events by delivering technical presentations/seminars/demos.
Assist with the creation of competitive conversion proposals
Assist with delivery of technical sales competency training to RA and Distributors
OVERSEE
Oversee Distributor Specialists competency development plans
Oversee Distributor Specialists sales technical support work (e.g. customer training, technical seminar or demo)

Expectations
Must be able to travel as needed within sales region @40%
BS Engineering degree
5-10 yrs drive application & troubleshooting experience
Technical Consultant Competency to be focused on:
PF750-Series and PF520-Series for pre-sale promotion and specification
PF750-Series, PF/700/H/S, Ethernet/IP and Profibus for application support & troubleshooting
