Global Finance
Global Finance aims to provide HSBC with a professional, effective and responsive finance service that operates at optimal cost and employs a common and transparent global model.
We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join this team in the role of FIN Mgr-CostAnalytics&ProjHBCN
In this role, you will:
- Responsible of Finance functional cost review & planning, deliver ad hoc cost/benefit analysis and support to manage cost efficiency and cost control by engaging FIN cost owners with follow-up actions;
- To support Finance change projects planning & project execution by engaging group/region/local stake holders (such as offshore, FTP, IFRS 9 and other change projects as identified) to ensure projects are delivered / progressed aligned with group target / requirement;
- Pro-actively support to drive functional sustainable saving with China FIN stakeholders by identifying saving opportunities, developing action ideas and coordinating implementation on track;
- Responsible for FIN function MI related to cost saving, organization efficiency and project reporting;
- Maintain strong collaborating relationship & communication with stake holders (including Regional PMs / ASP FIN Cost Control Team / Finance function owners / GFC and other country level governance functions);
- Bring "value" when carrying out all above jobs.

Qualifications

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skill
- Very pro-active attitude with good influencing skill
- Work independently and self-motivated
- Strategic thinking capability and understand dynamics of the Bank / FIN
- Team player, quick learner, rigorous manner but open in mind, clear logic, able to work with multiple tasks under pressure
- Accounting / Finance knowledge a must
- Excellent command of written ability in both Chinese and English
- Excellent oral English is a must in communication
