职位描述
1. Mechanical (Static) Engineer（美国第二大工程公司，高薪待遇丰厚，大型天然气项目）
2. our client is one of the world’s largest and most diverse providers of professional technical services, including all aspects of engineering, architecture, construction, and operations and maintenance as well as scientific and specialty consulting. We serve a large array of companies and organizations, including industrial, commercial and government clients across multiple markets and geographies.
3. Job Responsibilities：
? Assume technical authority and direction to piping and static mechanical systems
? Ensure sharing and implementation of standards, guidelines, and Lessons Learned
? Development of philosophies, engineering, and maintenance specifications
? Lead and direct contractors during their design and execution to comply with project requirements
? Contribute to development of the overall process safety for facilities in cooperation with other disciplines including project operation’s group
? Guide the project team in selection and application of static equipment to minimize technical risk
? Provide technical oversight to contractor on static equipment activities during the Construction and Commissioning phase of the project
? Interact with QA/QC to ensure all project static equipment is fabricated and tested to project requirements.
? Perform discipline and interdisciplinary reviews, troubleshooting, HAZOP, audits, FAT, etc.
? Provide support on SQR (Site Query Request) / RFI (Request For information) / DCN (Design Changes) / MR (material requisition) for engineering issues relating to piping and static mechanical systems
? Ensure compliance of the regulatory requirements in area of expertise
? Review and provide recommendation on maintenance strategies/ operating manuals / spares
Decision Making Authority and Accountability
? Approve waiver / exemption requests from vendors / manufacturers and ensure accuracy
? Review and ensure all drawings and reports (including test plans, materials certificates, spare parts list etc.) meet project specifications and regulatory requirements
? Support FAT and site / construction enquiries
? Work with delivery coordinators / design coordinators to provide a timely resolution during the construction and design periods
Primary Interfaces
Engineering manager, delivery managers, technical leads
Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience
? MSc or BE in piping and static mechanical equipment engineering with 10+ years of up-to-date experience from oil and gas upstream industry projects including significant onshore experience
? Demonstrated strong proactive safety approach
Outstanding practical knowledge of:
? Pressure Vessel Codes (EN 13445 and ASME Section VIII Division 1 and 2)
? Heat Exchanger Standards (TEMA R and ISO 16812)
? ASME B31.3 Process Pressure Piping
? API’s standards
? Materials of construction (especially for sour services)
? Fabrication methods
? Welding, non-destructive Evaluation (NDE) Techniques
? Relevant GuoBiao and Petro Industry code (Chinese National GB and SY Codes)
Basic understanding of Mechanical, Materials and Process Engineering:
? Solid Mechanics
? Fluid Mechanics
? Heat Transfer
? Metallurgy and Corrosion
? P&IDs
? Competent interdisciplinary team worker for front-end, detail engineering, construction, and commissioning
? Experience and interest in the development of standards and philosophies, guidelines
? Ability to effectively represent the project
? Good communication and social skills, effective across a broad spectrum of nationalities and cultures – ability to speak both Chinese and English will be highly preferred
