Key areas of accountability

a. To build up segment marketing plan for China based on deep understanding of the segment and its value chain

b. To create and implement segment marketing activities & campaigns in China including all marcom supporting materials necessary

c. To develop innovation programs for the segment in China based on market trends & requirements. Those new propositions should be built up together with service managers, product managers and sales teams based on strong market insights

d. To set up AOP plan for the segment based on strategic plan

e. To track local competition and keep local organization constantly aware of market developments

f. To support sales teams to search and develop new customers based on strong market intelligence data. Support those sales team to achieve sales growth and maintain long-term relationship with their key customers

g. To plan and implement engagement activities, such as seminars, trainings, lighting club programs, and etc. within budget, in order to support Philips awareness in the market and stimulate sales growth


h. To build and maintain close relations with lighting experts, specifiers, consultants, designers as a method to explore any potential sales opportunities and strengthen Philips leadership in the market

· Net Promoter Score per key customer group
· Marketing spend
· New categories growth: LED & Controls

Required Skills & Experience

-Strong Marketing background (must)
-Experience and knowledge in smart city is preferred
-Strong leadership skills
-Strong communication & language skills (English & Chinese)
-Strong presentation skills
