1 Primary Purpose and Overall Objective of the Job (to be defined in only one sentence):
? The job of the position is to help the doctors and patients to understand the clinical value of the Microbiology and immunoassays tests offered by bioMerieux and in turn to increase the prescription of those tests in primary healthcare institutions (CHC - County and community hospitals)
2 Main Accountabilities (list key missions: 6 maximum, use action verbs):
- bioMerieux does not have name in clinical field and therefore the position should have a strong clinical background in order to communicate with the doctors.
- As the doctors are not the direct end-users of the products, it would be challenging to establish the brand of bioMerieux among them if our products do not have a differentiation factor.
- Provide product and sales training to the bioMerieux , the distributors’ technical specialists team and clinical lectures particularly on product briefing to the clinicians and Lab director.
- Develop the clinical training curriculum with support of KOLs
- Identify local KOL capable to influence CHC hospitals.
- Give presentation to the doctors or patients of CHC sites on the clinical value of the diagnostic tests provided by bioMerieux.
- Work on the tools for educating doctors, nurses or patients on the clinical significance of the diagnostics tests offered by bioMerieux.
- Support the conduction of clinical studies at hospital sites, especially to compare with competition systems.
- Communicate with the customers on most updated clinical application of the diagnostic tests provided by bioMerieux as well as how it could help with complying to new governmental policies.
- Organize in-hospital events to promote clinical practice and make doctors understand the added-value bioMerieux tests vs other competitors
- Analyze and report competition strengths and weaknesses on clinical value.

- Typical Studies-Experience, Skills and Qualifications:
? Studies-Experience:
- A good degree on medical science and a degree of medicine ideally .
- At least 4 years’ working experience on communicating with physicians.
- 2+ Experience on making presentations to physicians
- Experience related to laboratory is preferred.
? Skills and Qualifications:
- Good inter-personal skill.
- Proficient in writing in English
- Excellent self initiative and objectives oriented.
- Travel in at least 3 different provinces
3 Scope and Resources Accountability, typical Performance Indicators:

- Financial Indicators (revenue, budget, etc.): sales, A/B
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Growth, number of lectures, of people trained
- Key Contacts (internal / external) and Interfaces: Sales, distributors, sales administration, supply chain, customer service. Customers, KOLs, physicians and lab directors
