Main Duties:
1. Within the CAE activities related to a project, take the full responsibility of supporting, organizing and coordinating a CAE dedicated team.
2. Follow-up the team assuring that the FE virtual models are compliant with the company and/or customer required quality standards, including the FE modeling.
3. Follow-up the team assuring that the CAE virtual models are representative of the physical problem or test that have to be virtually reproduced or solved.
4. Put in action methods and strategies in order to keep the CAE models up to date in terms of BOM and CAD data release.
5. High problem solving capability on technical issues, using own technical background and/or retrieving, organizing and selecting the resources and tools necessary to solve the problem.
6. Using engineering judgment to support the design team in the product development phases, giving proposals and solutions supported by the evidence of the CAE analysis results.
7. On request of the CAE manager to show and explain the conditions and the results of the virtual tests during meetings, internally and with the customer.

Qualification:
1. Degree in Mechanical Engineering Bachelor or Master
2. Familiar with overall vehicle development process
3. Excellent knowledge of the continuum mechanics and material and structural fatigue theory with special attention to automotive application about all regarding sheet metal, welds and spot weld failures mode
4. Excellent knowledge of the Finite Element Method (FEM), linear and non linear, implicit and explicit and/or other computational numerical methods used to solve complex problems related to structural strength, fulfillment of normal operational condition and durability in the automotive field
5. Excellent knowledge and ability in the usage of the most common structural commercial software such as NASTRAN, ABAQUS, FEMSITE, MSC Fatigue, Ncode.
6. Fluent in English
