The TCI is responsible for the technical concept, technical feasibility and customer specification fulfilment of a new product. He/she gives the necessary releases/support during the development process. The main missions of the role are to:
? Ensure the product's development: Adherence of quality methods; Keep the development plan up to date; Ensure timely completion relevant work packages; Supervise work packages of Technical Development and manage necessary changes with the Systemarchitect, Co-ordination with customers, suppliers and Industrial Engineering.
? “Face to the customer” in local area: take the needs and transfer information to the development team and also to other functions in the group, take the role of the D&D in front of the local customer and strongly give the feedback from the central development back to the customer
? Take over response upfront launches in the local plants for the D&D role
? Support the building of the Business Plan.
? Work out the product documentation and product history.
?
