technically and factually correct application of production-relevant quality tools and methods.
Implement and further develop the product and process standards demanded by the QM system.
Participation in Q improvement projects as well as supporting the process planner in projects concerning new products
and facilities.
Participating in determining test procedures and methods as well as capturing and evaluating test results to ensure
product quality, taking already existing documents as a basis.

Module 5: Tasks / Area of Responsibility
A Quality Product / Customer
1 Coordination of validation and release of F samples compliant to internal and external standards up to customer
approval (teaming with Development Quality Planning Officer, if applicable).
2 Preparation, and distribution to entities concerned, of quality documents required by customer for initial sampling
after changes made to series-produced parts or variants and devices taken over
3 Verify and assess the required sample test results taking into account internal and external guidelines (customer
requirements) as discussed with the superiors and internal as well as external entities
4 Preparation of documents required for the handling of customer complaints (e.g. 8D report, action plans)
5 Carrying out of risk analyses; working with responsible entities to prepare and take any corrective actions
6 On-time completion of Q standards in accordance with PDP for new project start-ups
7 Examine and validate the quality-relevant effects caused by customer change requests
8 Contribution to selecting suppliers for new projects
9 Drawing up and updating the quality assurance plan for series production, production flow charts, test plans as well
as documentation of the project's modification history
10 Plan and determine scope of in-series testing (e.g. requalification test) and coordinate the implementation,
synchronization and adaptation of scope in response to current problems
11 Agree with Development and Process Planning on the Q contents to be covered by the requirement specifications
for test and measuring equipment
Ensure machinery, process and test equipment comply with verifications
12 Statistically evaluate and prepare Q key figures; specify and draw up options for serial product and process
optimization
13 Control of quality-related customer-specific supplier assessments in data repository systems and
notification of critical situations of the entities concerned
14 Participate in and if necessary carry out internal and external product and procedure audits for new start-ups or
series production
15 Initiate and monitor sorting/rework activities at internal as well as external entities in coordination with the superiors
and the organizational units concerned
16 Involvement in the creation or maintenance of P-FMEA as well as other quality-relevant documents
17 Hold workshops as agreed with QPM (e.g. Q tools and Q procedures)
18 Support process planning in case of new start-ups and series modifications
19 Support, instruct and familiarize employees in working tasks relevant to the Q specialist area
