Job Title: Technical Manager

Job Summary:
Within the plant, manage processes and people in order to ensure that series production meets customer requirements: Quantity and Quality
Support to the continuous improvement process
Ensure the plant readiness to launch successful new programs
Manage and report key Manufacturing indicators
Definition of main tasks Definition of main tasks.
Responsibilities:
Procurement of manufacturing equipment under consideration of demanded security, quality and environmental protection and their preservation.
Equipment and tooling follow-up
Support the engineering change management process
Update manufacturing routines and work instructions
Keep processes (machines, tools, procedures) at best possible level in compliance with EHS regulations "
Support the plant central maintenance
Monitor capacity utilization
Keep plant lay-out updated / improved
Plan, monitor and coordinate the work of external companies
Create and introduce procedures regarding the tasks
Lead problem solving initiatives in terms of product quality and process
Participate to the plant PPA meeting
Interface to technical functions of other plants inside the group in terms of benchmarking know-how transfer etc.
Tasks:
Lead the continuous improvement process in following
- Labor,
- Machine Cycle Time
- Quality,
- Equipment and tooling reliability.
Lead the definition of the production process and selection of machines and equipments.
Define plant layout to support new products launch in line with Material / Information Flow Analysis.
Lead the installation process of new machines and equipments.
Support production in the start of new processes to ensure a successful SOP.
Qualifications:
At least 5 years of experience in production area, including one position in technical department
? Trained in MSPS (Magna Steyr Production System)
? Basic financial skills (costing, budget, investment)
? Ability to interface with other functions - Networking capabilities.
? International mindset, good at communication with international partners (colleagues / suppliers …)
Note: This role is opening both for Chinese and Expat (Non-Chinese), the applciants must speak fluent English.
