The CoE for SMC Lighting in Shanghai has been set up to be:
Analytical engine for the commercial APR organizations to provide reporting and analysis support, including conclusive, forward looking planning.
Right hand of the Business Partner by providing analytics for the Business Partner to interpret and drive management insight
Providing analytical insight, track down source data, triage root causes, provide supporting variance analyses and subject matter expertise
Should learn enough of the business context to create accurate, relevant reports & analyses
Can be aligned to support Business Partners, but will leverage analytical expertise within the FP&A CoE organization
Can interact with internal business roles for standard analytics

The CoE SMC will support the entire commercial operations of Lighting in Asia Pacific encompassing 13 ORUs and the Market Group regional office located in Singapore. The role will directly report to the Head of CoE SMC APR and be the overall responsible for the profit and loss pillars of the CoE operations, spearheading the development and deployment of harmonized reports and analyses to all APR commercial organizations.
