PURPOSE目的
The production engineer is responsible for the process monitor and improvement, to make sure the process is stable and capable to deliver the good quality products to customers. Deliver training to the setters and ensure the all the setters are qualified.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES主要工作职责
· Daily monitoring of process performances and conducting of necessary trouble shooting / countermeasures in the production lines to assure that the targets regarding waste, process capability and quality are met.
Monitor production processes to guarantee the conformance with process specifications.
· Mapping of all manufacturing processes used in his organization / area of responsibility (implement, deploy and maintain process maps and FMEA for all processes aligned with “mother factory” in Aachen/Germany
à link between process parameters and related product characteristics/quality)
· Lead continuous- and breakthrough improvement activities/projects for manufacturing processes (implement, maintain and improve manufacturing processes which are capable/reliable and cost effective).
· Act as a technical manufacturing process specialist, responsible for the execution of activities and projects to improve the productivity as well as the product quality
· Create, deploy and maintain detailed, easy to understand process specifications, OCAP’s and documents for process control (aligned with “mother factory” in Aachen/Germany)
· Carry out process qualification and validation (incl. resulting activities)
· Responsible for the transfer/introduction of new processes and production materials (if required) in strong cooperation and in alignment with mother factory.
· Respond to manufacturing quality issues by conducting root cause investigations, identifying and implementation of corrective actions
· Support the implementation of systems and programs to promote manufacturing process improvements in-line with BGA/GBU strategic plans.
· Participates pro-actively to the BGA/GBU network of manufacturing process engineers (regular alignment with mother factory)
· Maintain a high level of technical process knowledge in the production organization to maximize productivity and quality in the operations
· Development and execution of proper training programs for all processes and the related methods (root cause analysis, problem solving). Training of all relevant people in his organization (operator, setter, engineers).
· Create and implement all the procedures to make our factory full meet the requirement regarding ISO14000 and OHSAS18000. Responsible for all the government related case, especially for the environmental bureau and board of health.

- Functional Competency:
1. Be able to use statistical tools for problem solving, process and quality management (such as DOE, FMEA, R&R studies, 5S/housekeeping, process control/SPC, statistical tools, MEDIC/PDCA, OCAP’s etc.).
2. Technical competences and experiences in automated assembly processes (especially laser and resistance welding, automated aligning and mounting).
3. Strong analytical capabilities
4. Can work well in teams, good co-operation with others
5. Communication skills

- Other knowledge and skills:
1. Familiar with basic computer operation and Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project
2. Good knowledge about TS16949, ISO14000 and OHSAS18000
3. Good in spoken and written English
