[DESCRIPTION]
China Novartis Institutes for Biomedical Research (CNIBR) is a world class fully integrated drug discovery center of excellence committed to discovering and developing innovative therapies. This newly established Novartis R&D center is dedicated to discovering innovative medicine for treating cancer, viral infection, and other diseases that are prevalent in China and Asia countries.
We are looking for a highly motivated investigator to join our Epigenetics &Drug Discovery Division at CNIBR. The successful candidate will be part of the drug discovery research team to identify and validate drug target, as well as develop small molecule drug candidates for oncology indications. The qualified candidate will utilize the cutting-edge biological technologies to identify and validate the disease-relevant epigenetic regulators in human cancer and to move the targets forward into drug development in the multidisciplinary and global setting. The candidate will analyze scientific results, provide oral and written reports, and remain current with regard to literature reports and technological developments.


[ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS]
Candidates must hold a Ph.D in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, cell Biology or related field with track record of publications in Molecular and Cellular Biology fields. The ideal candidate should have minimal three years of industry working experiences in drug discovery, in-depth knowledge and hands-on technical skills in characterizing epigenetics targets. The candidate must be familiar with biochemistry, biophysics and enzymology technologies for the development of small molecular drug candidate. The successful candidate is expected to have strong work ethic, excellent oral and written communication in English, and ability to function in an interdisciplinary team setting are essential.
