Position
Reporting to Marketing Manager / Category Manager, the Senior Brand Manager / Brand Manager is responsible for the daily business management of the assigned brand. All brand related assignments, projects and reports are expected to be completed in professional, timely and thorough manner. The Senior Brand Manager / Brand Manager is expected to demonstrate a high degree of independence and leadership in managing their assigned brand. Strategic thinking and initiatives are expected of this marketing level.

Major responsibilities and duties:
1. Meet yearly sales and operating profit objectives set for the assigned brand.
2. Lead project teams comprised appropriate functional groups to accomplish business building projects for the assigned brand including but not limited to new product development, packaging improvement, new formulations, graphics, new updates, new delivery systems and cost reductions.
3. Optimize assigned Advertising, Promotion and Deal budgets to meet brand objectives. Track expenditure on a monthly basis.
4. Accurately forecast (within 25%) brand sales on a three-month rolling bases, Consider brand sales history, market conditions, new brand developments, competition and market economics.
5. Develop effective trade programs in concert with sales managers to maximize brand sales, increase distribution or meet immediate company objectives. Analyze and learn from historical programs to increase effectiveness.
6. Develop and execute consumer promotion programs to meet immediate brand objectives such as trial, competitive defense, and continuity of purchase. Analyze and learn from historical programs to increase effectiveness.
7. Assist senior marketing management in the development of advertising campaigns. Contribute to creative strategy development and copy evaluation.
8. Lead in the development and execution of brand related marketing research. Activities include writing Marketing Research Requests, assisting in writing of necessary questionnaires, analyzing post research report and providing recommendations for next steps.
9. Monitor and track competitive activity. Recommend initiative to defend / protect assigned brand.
10. Assist senior marketing management in the development of yearly corporate plans.
11. Compile and maintain brand Fact Book according to published department guidelines.
12. Develop and test new product concepts as opportunities are identified. Manage new product projects to their logical conclusion: either further refinement, abandonment, test market or national launch.
13. Manage and improve skills of any Marketing Executives / Assistants that may be assigned. Senior Brand Manager will have responsibilities through direct reports.

Candidate Education:
College / University graduate. Major in a business related field is preferred.

Skills & Training:
? Strong analytical and financial skills.
? Personal computer proficiency.
? Excellent English ability.
? Good business acumen.

Experience:
? 3 years of business related experience is preferred.
? 3 – 5 years of brand management experience.
