PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Responsible for the successful execution of the Electrical Sector, PDD APAC Division’s NPD projects, global projects and associated budget preparation. Leads Program Management team to drive customer satisfaction, continuous improvement and life of the program financial performance by managing customer, global or sector programs, contracts (internal or external), and business relationships.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Manages the Profit and Loss of the Division’s site NPD projects through the Program Managers in the team. Responsibility, Authority and Accountability (RAA) for every project scope delivery and successful execution within technical, schedule, cost and quality commitments.
2. Facilitates the implementation of program management processes at the Division level in alignment with the . PROLaunch phase gate process.
3. Supervises and balances the Projects and/or Program Managers assigned to the business unit. Redirects Program Managers if needed. Establishes objectives and goals and provides direction to the program and project teams in areas of customer concerns, potential changes in scope and risk assessment. Direct, manage and motivate the PM team members for the completion of projects.
3. Provides overall business unit interface with the customer. Improve organization responsiveness to customer requirements. Communication and manage customer expectations and contractual commitments internal to the business.
4. Works with the Electrical Sector Program Management director to establish and deploy standard program management processes and make sure adequate support to the program and project teams is given by coordinating Program Management reviews, preparing & publishing periodic PM metrics and reports.
5. Maintain metrics for programs and contracts for earned value when appropriate, quality, technical performance and delivery through all of the PROLaunch phases.
6. Conducts Program Management Peer-reviews and supports Technology-reviews for the most important programs.
7. Coordinates all risks and requirements of the platform program into a complete integrated entity. This is accomplished by planning, controlling, integrating all projects and programs and measuring all elements to ensure the requirements and goals are successfully achieved.
8. In partnership with the Product Line Manager, manage customer contracts, pricing, terms and conditions and contractual flow-down through the organization. Establish and negotiate pricing strategies by system and/or product, market and by customer. Develop contract negotiation strategies. Ensure effective change management against the baselines to meet the latest customer, market and product line managers requirements while maintaining the integrity of the approved financial business case(s) to the sector
9. Provides periodic program updates (Program Status Report – Green/Yellow/Red) of current situation relating to contractual (internal or external) milestones and problem/high risk areas (e.g., technical, cost, and schedule). Provides updates to the business units as well as divisional, group and sector levels.
10. Plays a key role in developing new business proposals and executing the overall program plan.
11. Seeks team input to promote rapid resolution to issues. Coaches and provides feedback/rewards on performance indicators.
12. Coordinates and monitors One Eaton program technical personnel across multiple sites.

REQUIREMENTS:

? Bachelors degree required; Engineering degree preferred
? 10+ years experience in Program Management; or a combination of Program Management with some Engineering and/or Product Development Management
? Experienced in New Product Development (NPD) programs
? Proven Leadership skills - capability to lead change in an Integrated Team (IPT) environment across multiple sites and customers globally.
? Very proficient in Program and Project Management methodologies, processes and tools
? Project Management Institute (PMI) accreditation (PMP) highly recommended
? Excellent communication and presentation skills – both verbal and written with ability to make necessary status reports and technical presentations to Eaton management and customer
? Experience in Risk Management
? Strong analytical skills and business acumen
? Broad knowledge of the electrical industry
