Key areas of responsibility:
-Develop regional medical strategy and ensure top level medical contribution to internal and external customers.
-Regional KOL management
-IIS
-Regional medical project

Main job tasks:
1)Develop regional medical strategy and ensure top level medical contribution to internal and external customers:
-Develop regional specific medical strategy, ensure alignment with marketing strategy and regional sales strategy.
-Develop strong and professional medical information package to support regional products and promotion events, and central marketing initiated key events such as NNDU, post-ADA and post-EASD scientific meetings.
-Actively involve in marketing, sales and scientific events to ensure the in-depth understand of science, business and the requirement and unmet needs of internal and external customers.
-Work closely with marketing, medical and sales teams, ensure the fluent communication and collaboration. Provide innovative support to the sales colleagues (materials, training, information, etc.) .
-Provide regional scientific information and unmet needs to central medical affairs and marketing.
-Deliver training to internal customers, such as marketing and sales colleagues.
-Professionally represent the company as the diabetes expert at scientific meetings, symposia and external conferences.
-Acquire and maintain highest standard of current diabetes knowledge and practice.

2)KOL Management:
-Update regional KOL list once yearly.
-Build and maintain positive scientific relationships with national and regional KOLs. Timely communicate with KOLs to update the brand related information and get their consensus and advocacy.
-Develop regional KOL management strategy, ensure regional KOL management by means of peer-to-peer call, regional AB and scientific programs.
-Organise once yearly regional AB and round table scientific discussion meeting, which is to set up a platform to discussion the regional medical strategy for NN whole portfolio.

3)IIS(Investigator Initiated Study):
-Work with MSL manager to discover potential IST idea which initiated by regional KOL.
-Fully communicate with investigator to define the value of IST.
-Scientific input into IST.
-Act as operation coordinator of the Investigator Initiated Study.

4) Regional medical project
-Set up oversea platform to fulfill the scientific communication between domestic experts and foreign experts. Design communication content and agenda.
-Design and set up special regional medical project according to the characteristic of each region. Such as medical-statistic conference, abroad visiting scholar program, et al.

5)Other individual assignments:
Ad-hoc assignments to attend international scientific congresses, communicate and cooperate with HQ medical affairs team.

Qualifications:
-Medical and marketing understanding
-Communication and cooperation
-Mature and independent.

Education:
-Medical Master degree or above, preferable in Endocrinology.
-Fluent in English.
-Professional experience:
-Scientific research and/or clinical experience, preferable in Endocrinology area.
-Experience in pharmaceutical marketing, R&D or medical affairs functions is prefered.

Main stakeholders:
Internal [affiliate] : Marketing, Medical and Sales are the key internal customers
Internal (HQ): Medical Affairs etc.
External [country]: Key Opinion Leaders and scientific associations etc.
