Job Purpose and Key Responsibilities:

Job Purpose:

· Own key logistics processes i.e. SCP and ensure rollout at site consistently

· Aligned with business strategy and improve overall supply chain management continuously

· Lead and develop logistics team and supply chain management capability including Planning & Customer Service, Capacity Planning, Import & Export, and Warehouse Management.

· Ensure compliance with GMP, EHS standards, Internal Governance Standards etc. in all logistics operations

Key Responsibilities:

• As key interface with ALM, Commercial Customer about demand
• Drive SCP process including Demand review, Capacity planning, Master Production Schedule (MPS), MRP etc.
• Effective Inventory Management on site
• Import & Export Processes including Management of Logistics Service Provider & Customs Authorities
• Customer Service Management
• Warehouse Management including resources, equipment and facility.
• Logistics Budget Development and Delivery
• Logistics Team Leading and Development
• Logistics Regulatory, Quality & EHS Compliance
• Logistics Knowledge Management

Logistics Risk Mitigation and Business Continuity Planning

Accountability:

• To be a member of the site leadership team, to deliver performance and strategy at site level.
• To manage the Logistics Service Provider and Customs Authorities in support of site objectives.
• To own & manage the BPCS system, ensuring that it meets business requirements.
• To manage effective planning to balance supply and demand.
• To ensure that Warehouse operation is able to support the site in terms of goods receipt, storage, issue and dispatch.
• To deliver projects on site strategic intent
• To ensure inventory accuracy and manage inventory risks.
• To ensure that Logistics operation are compliant with Regulatory Requirements, Corporate Policies, GMP and EHS requirements, ensuring SOPs are in place and in use.
• To ensure delivery of departmental budget and CAPEX.
• To manage and mitigate Logistics operational risks.
• To ensure that Logistics operation is continuously improving to support delivery of site vision.
• To ensure audits and CAPAs are carried out as planned and are effective.
• To manage and build a productive and competent Logistics organization.
• To ensure clear two way communication between management team and team.
• To manage staff performance and development through effective performance management.
• To ensure teams and individuals are recognized and rewarded for performance and exemplary behaviors.
• To develop strategic capabilities and competencies in support of site vision.
• To provide a safe and conducive environment that inspires and motivates staff to do their best work.
• To ensure required knowledge is acquired (e.g. training & best practice introduction) and retained (including tacit knowledge).
• To ensure business continuity through effective succession planning.

Key Competencies :

· University graduate or higher in appropriate field.

· Good knowledge of Supply Chain Management.

· Appropriate level of experience( Minimum 5 years experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing )

· Broad base of knowledge (Be familiar with GMP, GLP and other relative national regulation.)

· Commercial awareness of business environment

· Good problem solving skill

· Strong leadership and influencing abilities

· Good interpersonal skills

· Good communication skill including English oral and written skills

Key Competencies :

· University graduate or higher in appropriate field.
