RESPONSIBILITIES:

?This position is for the care and support of the control system equipment in the Operations Services Center located in NanJing, China.
?This position is responsible for sustaining the OSC connectivity with the sites and places a premium on IT networking skills. The system utilizes multiple layers of 3rd party software to provide this connectivity, and the successful candidate needs to be capable of navigating through these in troubleshooting efforts.
?This person must also be capable of working with internal and external network providers, and be the first point of contact for troubleshooting of the IT network components which together make up the system.
?This individual will work jointly with the OSC Operations team and the individual site process controls engineers to troubleshoot, improve and drive best practices (HMI operability, alarm management etc) in the HMI's at the sites and the OSC. They will co-ordinate feedback to Engineering for new plants.
?Following the initial project, this person will be responsible for the continuous addition of new sites into the center. This includes modifying the system database to receive OPC tags from the sites, adding graphics with targets to initiate web sessions with these sites, and modifying graphics to receive and annunciate status and alarms tags from these sites. This individual will then co-ordinate the IT activities required to provide secure access to the plant HMI's.
?Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills are required to realize the benefits that a single OSC collaborating with approximately two hundred sites can generate.


JOB REQUIREMENTS:

-This position supports OSC operations, which operate 24 hours/a day every day, and as such this position is always "on call." Normal work schedule is Monday through Friday, but realistically will require considerable extra hours and some weekend/holiday work.
-Good working knowledge of current PC networking and Microsoft programs (Excel, Word, Power Point, Access Database would be a plus).
-Good interpersonal communication to interface with the team and key internal functions. English communication skill is required. University degree, CET -6 or equivalent.
-This position requires good organizational skill and the ability to simultaneously handle multiple tasks and priorities.
-Education - Engineering in BS degree preferred in Automation, Electrical, or Computer Engineering
-3-5 years relative working experience.
