职位描述

Job Summary:

Primary Contract Manager responsible for one or more client(s) with annual revenue equal to Diamond Client engagements or engagements rated as complex or extremely high risk. Manage complex, risky and high-value government, international and commercial contracts and subcontracts in accordance with company policies and procedures, applicable laws, and customer requirements. Provide on-site advice to the company’s business/client units and project teams on contract management and policy compliance matters. Organizes, controls, and directs the work activities of a team of contract management professionals to support a business or client unit.


May supervise a team composed of Contract Management professionals and other engagement personnel. Formulate program or engagement or client goals and objectives to focus activities towards effective performance of contract management and/or other engagement functions. Exercise effective, proactive management techniques to adhere to performance objectives and measurements. Directly influences and provides guidance to and sets the example for others to follow in terms of professionalism and overall demeanor.

Key Responsibilities


· Responsible for the management and delivery of high volume, complex and high risk contracts and support to the business or client unit

  • Responsible for timely consultation and escalation of contractual, business or CM positioning issues which are not solved satisfactorily by the project team
  • Responsible for implementation of CM processes
  • Manages daily workload of assigned Contract Management personnel and project or business personnel assisting with the contract management function
  • Understands, supports, and enables business/client and strategy of the business/client unit

· Selects personnel for employment and work assignments

  • Sets performance standards, evaluates work performance, and takes action to recognize excellence and to correct deficiencies
  • Working closely with the legal team lead, ensures seamless contract formation and contract execution support is delivered to the organization
  • Serve as key escalation point and provide judgment/assistance in identifying project issues and risks
  • Achieves a reasonable level of understanding of the company’s major business areas (System Integration, Business Consulting and/or Outsourcing) in order to communicate effectively with project Senior Executives and provide relevant advice.
  • Actively markets and promotes the contract management function within the business/client unit
  • Provides training to Contract Management personnel
  • Actively involved in Regional or Global Initiative

Reports to:

· Senior Contract Manager OG, Country, Geography or Regional Lead


· Supervises:

Contract Management professionals (at all levels) performing the contract management function and other engagement personnel within the business/client unit. However, there may be no direct reports as this job is focused on functional expertise vs. supervisory functionalities.


· External Relationships:

Procurement/contract management executive leads at client sites or government agencies



Qualifications:


  • Education:

College degree required; advanced degree in business, contract management, law or engineering preferred.


  • Membership in the International Association for Contract and Commercial Management (IACCM) or National Contract Management Association (NCMA) and professional certification are a plus

  • Work Experience:

15+ years experience in contract management or related discipline

  • Work Requirements:

Extensive travel may be required


Knowledge and Skill Requirements

  • Strong leadership, influencing, management and teaming skills with strong exec presence

· Demonstrated successful management of complex deals

· Comprehensive knowledge of general corporate business practices, government and commercial contracting regulations and principles, subcontracting practices, and accounting and finance principles (Note: Additional emphasis may be placed upon knowledge of government regulations.)

· Collaborative and persuasive; able to influence executives and non-executives

· Able to effectively communicate with client executives and all levels of the organization
