We are seeking for a Sr. Material Program Specialist for Voice Operation organization in PCTC. PCTC is one of the biggest R&D Productization Centers in Polycom executing a range of product development programs. In the voice operation organization we take care of all materials-related activities in product development programs and projection programs. Our primary responsibility is to ensure continuous supply of materials to support production and sales. Work to resolve materials issues while achieving and maintaining inventory business metrics and ensure that the right suppliers and materials are selected in order to optimize technology, quality, supply and cost. We are involved from the early beginning of a product program until end-of-life building the success on close cooperation with other program functions, the global commodity management and procurement network as well as suppliers. Work strategically to drive physical and systematic changes in the material flow process by PDP (Polycom delivery process)

Responsibilities:
1. Manage daily activities with contract manufacturer operation (direct material pricing & supply chain, purchase price variance, product cost impact, build/ship plan& revenue).
2. Closely work with global commodity team to implement sourcing strategy, drive DM cost reduction.
3. Be in charge of approving risk order of long lead time materials for supply assurance of sustaining products, and also secure requirement.
4. Review of inventory impact from EOL/LTB parts, obsolete parts from ECO and product EOL, excess materials from reduced demand and high minimum order quantity.
5. Facilitate supply strategic compliance, material environment compliance and support component approval process.


Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree, 5+ years in Supply Chain management, including Material management experience / production / Planning / MRP.
2. Intermediate MS Office skills, and advanced user of Excel.
3. English and Chinese verbal / writing skills
4. Good negotiation skills.
5. EMS or Telecom R&D experience preferred, PPS/Agile user preferred.????
