Purpose
Inside sales is one of sale team members in LB Area sales team. Insides sales manages maximal about 200 accounts in the designated area through working with field sales (each field sales will be allocated certain accounts as the resource to go to customer site to have face to face discussion with customers when needed) to allow filed sales to focus on new signings. In the mean time, inside sales also has the responsibility to explore the opportunities from the existing customers’ segmentation and support to develop more prospects in China. Sales Manager ensures the full cooperation between the inside sales and fields sales to achieve profitable business growth in each area. Inside sales communicate with customers through phone calls, all site visits will be handled by field sales.
Key elements of the role include implementation of account management of all existing customers in the area including customer satisfaction improvement, customer retention, contract renewal, profit improvement through PIP/ME, productivity improvement, leads/referrals from our existing accounts for MG and other MFOs. Hit related sales KPI.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Manage 200 accounts.
2. Customer satisfaction and retention. Regular phone call follows up with all accounts (50 calls /week) and gets customers’ feedback.
3. Monitor key milestones of new signed accounts, for example, tank installation, on-stream schedule, customer feedback on service, proposed improved solution based on customer feedback
4. Invoice pre-validation with some customers.
5. Responsible for credit/debit memo, account block and unblock process and DSO improvement (2 days less than previous year)
6. Contract management. Manage the database on all contracts, reactively manages the data on contract renewal date, ever green notice tourmaline, product surcharge, price escalation formula …to support sales manager to improve customer retention rate
7. Work with cross functional teams like customer engineering, GBSS and CT/DM team to help customer resolve issues and provide value added service to customers to improve customer loyalty and enhance AP’s brand recognition in the market
8. Execute PIP and ME to pass through the cost inflation so as to improve margin
9. Through good communication, convince customer to support AP’s productivity efforts like opening 24 hours delivery window
10. With daily account management to build good customer relationship and get new signing from customer expansion projects
11. Get leads and referrals from existing accounts to help grow business for both LB and other product lines and MFOs
12. Provide weekly report to sales manager on volume/price, productivity achievement of existing accounts and segment highlights feedback by customers.
13. Manage customer complaints through working with cross function team to provide solutions
14. Ensure good customer retention, less than 2% volume lost to competitor each year
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
1. Education
- College Degree or University education (Business or Technical discipline preferred)
2. Work Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in sales or customer service function in multinational companies
- Experience in industrial gases or chemicals would be a strong plus.
3. Skills
- Sales, commercial and negotiation skills
- Good coordination and interpersonal skills
- Strong communication skills including written and spoken English and Chinese
- Good telephone communication skills
4. Qualities
- Strong commitment on the job and desire to win
- Good team player and can work both independently and as a team member always with constructive opinion
- Result focused – demonstrate ability to reach goals, accountability for results.
