A successful candidate must have strong technical skills and have the courage and conviction to make decisions in ambiguous situations. Candidate must be well prepared to from system level, cooperate within and across groups and functions. Ideal candidate must demonstrate strong ownership and accountability, has excellent organization and communication skills, enjoys learning, can effectively bring solutions to difficult problems, and has great attention to detail. Other key responsibilities include

? Propose, define and present product and platform specifications and features.
? Ensure that designs meet established specifications, cost, timeline and development budgets.
? Circuit design for products as well as platforms. Including Architecture, function modules, and interface.
? Conduct design reviews. Be aware of short term and long term consideration. Be sure it to be within different user scenario tolerance, testable and manufacturable.
? Ensure good documentation of the design as well as version control.
? Troubleshoot and analyze technical problems and recommend solutions.
? Collaborate with marketing and technology teams and participate in project reviews.

Requirements:
? BS in Electronics, telecommunication, Computer Engineering or equivalent is required.
? 5+ years experience in direct hardware or firmware design & development.
? At least 3 years experience as system engineer or system architecture.
? Solid communication skills in English. Oral, written and presentation skills in English is a must. Chinese language is a plus.
? Good understanding of hardware design at component and circuit level.
? Understanding of embedded system architecture.
? Understanding of microprocessor architecture and real time FW design and development.
? Knowledge of the industrial protocols that you have worked on.
