Position Description

-Serve as the primary contact with ecommerce teams on Demandware projects

-Gain strong understanding of business needs and priorities

-Drive the project business case and requirements definition phase

-Ensure that proposed solutions are aligned with the L’Oreal IT standard and strategy

-Manage related vendors, also internal teams, on project delivery including requirement analysis, system design, coding, QA, deployment and maintenance according to corporate standard process, SLA, KPI and best practices

-Manage the project timeline, quality, budget and resources

-Develop and maintain strong relationship with ecommerce teams, IT teams and external vendors

-Participate to daily support, including bug fixing and performance optimization as needed

-Stay informed on new digital solution trends and contribute to IT digital strategy development

Core Competencies/Position Requirements

-10+ years of experience with engaging in, planning, managing and delivering web/ecommerce solutions from inception to launch

-Strong IT vendor management expertise is a must

-Ability to interact effectively with internal business teams, at different levels of the organization

-Strong organizational, time management, communication, process orientation and problem-solving skills with multiple clients/vendors/projects

-Ability to successfully function in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment is a must

-Experience in analysis and documentation of functional requirements for ecommerce projects

-Experience in ecommerce/cosmetic/FMCG/retail industry is preferred

-Fluency in both English and Mandarin is a must

-Bachelor’s degree required

-PMP certification or equivalent preferred

-A general knowledge of operation and marketing

-People management experience a plus

Technical/Professional Requirements

-Solid expertise in web especially ecommerce site development technologies such as Java (JSP, Servlet, JDBC, Struts, Spring, Hibernate), .net (Asp.net, C#, MS SQL), PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Web services

-Extensive server administration (such as Windows, Linux) and performance tuning experience in both application (such as IIS, Apache, WebSphere) and database (Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL)

-Demandware project implementation experience is definitely preferred

-Understanding in mobile application/site development technology such as responsive design, iOS, Android is a plus
-SAP implementation and/or support experience is a plus
