Scope of Work
· Responsible for integral Product Quality deliverables and Product Quality processes in a project as defined in Technology & Function Creation, Integral Product Development and Life Cycle Management processes.
· Assist and coach project team on the Project Quality plan and quality tools
· Developing and executing the design release verification and validation plan
· Responsible for product safety, compliance, regulatory, sustainability and approbation related activities.
· Ensure sustenance of QA laboratories activities.
Key Area of Responsibilities
1. Provide leadership and steer all product quality related activities in Technology and Function Creation and Integral Product Development with special attention for:
· Driving requirement development: VPH à VOC tree à CTQ definitions.
· Steer for robust & reliable design, driving capability and reliability requirements.
· Manage risk & problem and margin. Facilitate and review FMEA’s, PMI’s, Problem log’s.
2. Ensure proper definition and execution of the product quality test plan in a project, covering all chapters of the “Quality Plan”:
· Design and execute Verification & Validation plan.
· Product & Process Maturity Testing, Early Market Feedback.
· Simplicity Experience Tracking, SET.
· Ongoing Reliability Testing.
3. Communicate regularly on the quality status, monitor predicted call rate (CRES) throughout the project execution, Capture learning’s from earlier projects (both on the development process and on technical issues, FCR, PFQ improvements) and initiate improvements in the new / current project.
4. Support SQA in above tasks for ODM based product development projects.
5. Provide advice based on the Quality information available during the milestone meeting and mandatory advice the stakeholders if the criteria are not met to pass the project Milestone.
6. Provide an interface between the project team members (including Supplier Quality Leader, Industrial Quality Leader and Service Quality Leader) and the Project Leader, on product quality aspects.
7. Identify quality training and support needs within the project team and organize improvements.
8. Ensure follow through and adherence to the highest standard of product safety requirements, and also compliance to regulatory as well as sustainability requirements.
9. Support LCM (Life Cycle Management) activities to ensure smooth launching of new type number of existing product to new country and finding root causes / resolution of sustaining product issues.
10. Assist with Managing QA laboratories activities to sustain high level of testing equipment performance and smooth running of verification operations.
