Duties and key responsibilities:

1. Lead national direct sales team to achieve corporate sales objectives by creating an effective and efficient sales organization.
2. Provide leadership through effective communication, active coaching and development while comparing sales results to goals and taking appropriate action to correct when necessary.
3. Provide sales management, budget control, and incentive planning.
4. Ensure effective hiring, training, development and retention of field sales team.
5. Provide supervision through field visits, observations and measurement of results to include performance appraisals and salary reviews.
6. Proactively identify market changes and modify strategies and tactics accordingly.
7. Prepare and meet/exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts.
8. To attend the Cordstrap Training Centre (CTC) in Holland for product training, achieving levels 1, 2 and 3.
9. Maintain competitive knowledge to create and adjust sales strategies.
10. To attend trade exhibitions and carry out stand duty.

Profile:

1.ECDL or equivalent IT qualification

2.Degree level or equivalent

3.Sales, Demonstration, Negotiating & Closing skills

4.Experienced in time and territory planning and management

5.Able to work under pressure to set targets

6.Commercially aware

7.Demonstrable IT skills

8.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

9.Good organising and time management skills

10.Experience of record keeping and report writing

11.Highly self-motivated individual

12.Driven and have a strong desire to succeed
