Primary Function:

Directly manage the Shanghai distribution center's operational activities, ensuring timely receiving and put-away of inbound inventory and meeting service levels for picking and shipping. Achieve operational excellence goals including inventory and order accuracy, safety, and productivity. Develop and lead a world-class team in a world-class distribution center.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities :

1.Provide daily management of all warehouse functions including receiving, shipping, return goods handling, customer service, order accuracy, cycle counting, inventory accuracy, equipment maintenance, FIFO, blocked goods management, staffing and training, and continuous improvement plans.

2.Recruit, develop, evaluate performance, and ensure proper training and of new and existing team members.

3.Continuously maintain operational procedures and working instructions for warehouse day to day operations.

4.Set operational excellence goals and metrics, drive to achieve them, and develop appropriate incentive programs.

5.Handle team member relations issues and demonstrate effective problem solving methods relating to warehouse operation plans, product flow, and organization goals.

6.Establish process controls and monitor daily operational duties and priorities.

7.Ensure operations customer service goals are met including fill rates and on time shipping.

8.Optimize warehouse facility racking and environment to maximize space utilization and efficient work flow.

9.Monitor and track productivity performance, quality, safety and compliance metric reporting.

10.Provide budgeting and financial control by monitoring expenditures. Provide manpower, equipment and labor forecasts.

Preferred Education & Experience:

1.College degree or above

2.Excellent English both in oral and writing, CET-4 above is a plus

3.Minimum 7 years of warehouse management experience.

4.Knowledge and experience with WMS/ERP systems required.

5.Experience with distribution quality control strongly desired.

6.Small-order, high volume distribution experience desired (b2c ecommerce, retail delivery, etc.)

7.Leadership and management experience (schedule, hire, orient, train, develop, lead)

8.Excellent analytical skill
