World – Class Finance Early Career Potential Program at Philips

We are looking for talented Master’s graduates from China with at least 3 years Finance experience, to undertake an internationally – based self – driven training program that will prepare them for senior Finance positions in China in long term.

Program Introduction
Our aim is to build local talents in china in order to achieve the key business targets for 2020 and beyond. That means accelerating your career through a two – year training program , not by sitting you behind a desk but by putting you out there in the business and putting you firmly in control of your own success .
We will put you in the lead
· During the course of the program, you will undertake challenging projects /assignments , the first one is home country based assignment and it will be defined by home country hosting organization as a start up of knowing the Philips China organization and business,. The 2nd will be the abroad projects.
· Mentor helps you to excel: To provide some useful advice and guidance, we’ll provide you with a mentor who has close links to your home country, plus we’ll provide you with an annual budget to spend on personal and professional development. But after that it will be entirely up to you to secure your projects and build the experience and skills set that we require. The entire program is specifically designed to fast-track the development of entrepreneurial talent. That’s why we put you in control.
· Eger to Win: We will, of course, also monitors your progress and achievements. You’ll get expert feedback during and after each project and we’ll expect you to demonstrate a steep learning curve. After you’ve finished the traineeship, we’ll make a final assessment on your development and performance over the 2 years. If you pass, you will be offered a senior position in the Philips China Finance organization. And because we’re committed to helping our employees reach the heights that they aspire to, you’ll also be enrolled automatically into our global talent program.
The Great Opportunity not for everyone
The Philips Finance Early Career Potential Program is certainly not for everyone. You must, for example, be explicit in stating your intention to join the Philips organization in China after the program. If you plan to stay abroad, don’t bother to apply. The same applies if you’re not 100% sure about a career in Finance or if you’re not prepared to make the necessary personal sacrifices.

We strongly believe that only people who are successful at making things happen on their own are the type of people who can successfully lead our company into the future. So that’s who we’re looking for.

Your Profile should have:
· Master degree in Finance from a well known International/ Chinese University
· 5+ years working experience in Finance
· Good Finance and Accounting qualification, eg: ACCA, CIMA or AIA
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong leadership potential
· Strong analytical & problem solving skills
· International experience or mindset
· Entrepreneurial mentality with a drive for success
· Fluent speaking in English in addition to writing, reading and listening
