GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Manage all VSG commercial activities with China OEM/OES customers

· Establish and execute commercial plan in full alignment with global VSG strategy

· Manage commercial relationship with JV in China

· Achieve profitable growth

o Capture new profit enhancement opportunities

o Proactively identify and secure new engine programs

o Manage account receivables and control past due within corporate guideline

o Negotiate and manage price, terms, delivery, etc. to protect FMSBC interest

o Negotiate supply contract and other commercial issues with JV partner

· Gather and analyze market intelligence, technical and commercial, of the VSG products

· Assist global BU in M&A activities and related other commercial discussion

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

· Education / Experience

o Bachelors degree in engineering, MBA a plus

o Minimum 5 year engineering/manufacturing experience with automotive industry, powertrain preferred. Past experience in valve train definite plus.

o Minimum 5 years Chinese OEM customer experience (sales or AE) required

· Skills

o Self-motivated and required little supervision

o Understanding of JV environment, and also able to integrate into FM global organization

o Ability to evaluate the business issues and prioritize activities

o Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

o Excellent interpersonal skills

o Fluent Chinese and English, German language a plus.

· Travel

o This position requires 40%+ of travel in China

o This position requires flexibility in working hours to accommodate global meeting/coordination
