Position Title : Finance Manager, Finance Planning & Analysis
Working Location : Shanghai

Overall Purpose of Job
This should be a broad overview of this position’s function. Include the overall scope of the position and the authority this position possesses in terms of programs/ projects/ operations and establishing policy.
? This role is designed to initiate reliable and timely financial analysis, planning, and reporting for the AP region, including monthly, quarterly, actual result analysis, rolling forecasts, annual operating plans, and long range plans. This role provides the management team with reliable information to support strategic decision making. The role will also cover any projects and operational analysis tasks as required by the business leaders
Major Responsibilities
List the major responsibilities and accountabilities of this position. Include quantifiable data where appropriate (i.e. budget dollars, etc.)
? Instruct and coordinate all Asia Pacific units for the preparation of monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc reporting, ensuring timely and accurate submissions, including monthly, actual forecast, and operating/strategic plan
? Liaise with Livonia headquarters on all reporting issues including deadlines, systems/technical changes, accounting treatment, and special entries; providing guidance to the controllers
? Prepare mid-month forecast package for senior management, explaining variances between the current plan and previous forecast for profit and cash flow
? Lead operating/strategic plan preparation process, including consolidation and presentation of requested packages and reports to support senior management reviews
? Train and support direct reports and Asia Pacific controllers/plant finance teams on financial reporting and analysis requirements. Help the business units to improve the efficiency and quality of financial planning and analysis
? Provide ad-hoc on site support to plants on special projects

? Familiarity with today's major financial system applications and databases.
? Strong ability to coordinate and collaborate.
? Strong leadership skills, ability to work as part of a team and potential to develop in a multi-national organization
? Computer literate. Strong Excel spreadsheet and ERP application skills.
Education & Work Experience
Indicate the minimum level of education and work experience necessary to perform this position’s responsibilities. Include the required certifications, licenses, etc. Also, include preferred as well as necessary conditions.
Note: Desired education and work experience should be based solely on job responsibilities; they should not necessarily mirror the background of the position’s incumbent.
Education: At least a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CPA/CMA or MBA preferred
Language: Strong communication skills in Mandarin and English
Experience: At least 5 years accounting/finance working experience. Background in manufacturing enterprise or accounting firms is preferred.
