Job Purpose
Design & develop industrial motion control hardware for Rockwell Automation product, and working on maintenance to support product upgrading.

KPI (Key Performance Indicator)
Demonstrate superior skills and achievements in developing high-quality industrial motion control hardware.
Ability to work with internal and external customer to finalize function specification and requirement, ability to cooperate with customer to setup time table and resource plan.
Establish good communication with customer to ensure project plan be executed on the track and avoid risk.
Follow GPT/CPD process for development and documentation standard.
Responsible with Industrialization Engineering for the design of industrial hardware. Invents, innovates and designs the features of product.
Develops and executes qualification test plan in accordance with RA procedures.
Deliver new product on schedule, at budget and meet the quality requirement.

Key Responsibilities
Motion control hardware design, include schematic, layout, build EBOM and create design description.
Design hardware driver related firmware and other firmware module in same project.
Create hardware prototype test plan based on industrial product test requirements.
Communication with customer in time base.
Follow company’s IP and safety regulations.



DO
Determine motion control hardware design roadmap/approach based on marketing requirement, evaluate cost.
Ability to breakdown job and plan timeframe of developing.
Follow RASRC’s development process.
Establish qualification test plan based on product requirement.
Deliver development documentation, include function specification, design specification, test case specification and user manual (if required).

Ability to make appropriate and effective use of oral and written English to communicate.
Cooperate and negotiate with diverse individuals and groups.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS / WORK EXPERIENCE




M.S. of Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
At least 3 years work experience in motion control hardware development.
