Job Purpose

• The role applies advanced LEAN techniques and change management skills to support sites achieving the Ops Exc. Budgeted targets
• Contributes for further development of the site, by identifying additional improvement opportunities and stressing the targets
• Coach the LEAN Professionals at country level
• Contributes to the development of LEAN in the country, by having a LEAN expertise area

Key Accountabilities

• Define a plan together with the site management to improve the operations at a site level, provide key improvement hypotheses and necessary support. Followup the progress and sustainability. Report progress to country LEAN structure.
• Use all LEAN functional skills to design and implement creative ideas (site specific), enhancing the impact to the site efficiency. Deliver advanced solutions, to more complex problems. Estimate expected impact for the implementations and follow-up productivity/efficiency results.
• Facilitate improvement projects at the sites in scope, including training and results presentation. Create work plan for the activities in scope. Full accountability to escalate progress issues to the country LEAN structure
• Proactively manage stakeholders (site management and country LEAN structure) expectations as far as the progress of the sites in scope. Provides input for Ops Budget, for the sites in scope
• Coach the site team management and the change agents at the sites in scope. Coach LEAN Professionals, delivering fact based assessments and escalate performance issues to the country LEAN structure
• Create relevant analysis to support the design and implementation of specific improvement ideas. Independently check MT accuracy and the link to other tools, creates actions plan, coach site and follow-up.
• Coach others on the respective LEAN expertise area.
• Assess, collect and share best practices with LEAN community and site management

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master Degree

  LEAN Professional or minimum 3 year experience in a Supervision or Managerial function

  Exposure to international or national LEAN projects, for 5 waves of 8 to 9 weeks

  SCA assessor training

• Independently lead projects at site level, based on budgeted targets

  Implementation of advanced LEAN tools both warehouse and office environment

  Performed SCA if necessary

• Training other in all LEAN tools

  Good skills in Office (user level)
