Primary Purpose
Responsible for planning and execution of store/customer events, direct marketing, area promotion, catalog/direct mailing programs and other sales promotion activities to drive sales and traffic.
Key Responsibilities
? Responsible for creating and management In-store Event with vendor and agency. Develop new concept of loyal customer events (i.e., fashion show, LCE, PCE) to enhance brand image for loyal customers and or new customers.
? Communication messages must be consistent with Merchandising strategies and in-store customer experience.
? Develop sales promotion plans such as give-away gifts, catalog/direct mailing communication hook and area or store specific promotions to drive incremental traffic and sales.
? Strategic tie-up promotion with Department stores and Mall.
? Manage 3rd party co-marketing, tie-ups to drive sales and establish co-marketing opportunities.
? Develop partnership with NY Creative Organization, Visual Merchandise team, CRM Retail Fields and other to ensure consistency and timely execution.
? Work w/ NY and internal departments, to plan catalog/direct mailing promotions for product assortment and layout, visual image, product information and key messages, manage preparations for in store event.
? Manage catalog/direct mailing production schedule to meet due dates.
? Partner with Customer Development (CRM) to determine customer segmentation for direct mailing to maximize ROI.
? Monitor and analyze sales promotion results to determine cost effectiveness and future promotions.
? Handle sales promotions by partnering with Merchandising, Field/stores, department stores and Logistics Department.
? Maintain annual and monthly sales promotion calendar, monthly LE and budget.
Education, Experience, and Qualifications
? Bachelor’s degree required. MBA a plus.
? Minimum 6 years sales promotion/retail marketing experience. Communications and PR experience a plus.
? Experience working in luxury brands, retail, cosmetics or fast-moving consumer goods industry a plus, working with Department stores and conducting customer events.
? An expressed understanding of Coach brand (including aesthetic, taste level).
? Ability to translate Coach brand into strategic sales promotions to increase brand awareness and drive incremental traffic/sales.
? Proven experience and ability of people manager and project manager.
? Good planning skills.
? Organizational and high analytical skills with the ability to resolve complex problems and/or situations especially in direct marketing.
? Proven track record of translating analytical findings to broader audience and ability to build credibility.
? Highly organized and ability to adapt quickly; strong attention to detail.
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
