JOB TITLE
QA Manager

Position Description
- The candidate needs to work closely with the Software Test Leads, Quality Engineers and Developers in Gobal office and Product Managers, Project Managers and Performance Engineers throughout the product cycle to ensure applications function in accordance to the business requirements and functional specifications.
- The candidate will plan and execute testing efforts for Interactive products and applications. The responsibilities include testing of new requirements, enhancements and infrastructure upgrades to identify defects and any other factors that influence correctness, accuracy, usability, system performance, availability, and reliability.
- The candidate will receive business requirements from client via a Product Mangers\Architect\Developers\Test Lead to successfully test applications. Must be detail-oriented, analytical with ability to think through complex testing scenarios.
This position requires a highly motivated individual that can manage changing priorities.

Job Responsibilities
- Define and implement test processes and testing best practices
- Successfully lead system, UAT and performance testing efforts for projects through the various stages of the development lifecycle
- Work closely with business owners, development teams, product managers and project management throughout the product cycle to improve ensure the product functions in accordance to the business requirements and functional specifications.
- Conduct testing status meetings and produce testing status reports on the regular basis.
- Develop and document test plans.
- Execute test cases and generate high quality bugs and reports based on findings and coverage.
- Work closely with operations, development and project management to determine resource requirements for hardware, software and staffing.
- Review project documentation as a basis for testing documentation and product understanding.
- Mentor more junior team members.

QUALIFICATIONS
Experience:
---5+ years of experience leading in software testing, including planning, estimating and executing testing.
Skills:
- Proficient in English Language (Read / Write / Speak)
- Able to drive test execution to successful on time completion
- Able to estimate testing schedule and resources
- Able to clearly define and document test plans
- Proficient in designing, reviewing and executing manual test suites.
- Demonstrates a sound understanding of GUI design and usability errors.
- Quick Test Professional
- Knowledge of object oriented and internet development concepts
- Basic understanding of SQL and Unix commands
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, VB, Perl, C/C++, Java Script, ASP, Flex/Flash a plus.
Domain Knowledge:
- Software testing methodologies, concepts, best practices and team management knowledge required.
- Financial / Investment Industry Knowledge definitely a plus.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, related technical field
