Job Summary :

Lead and supervise the retail sales force to achieve or exceed the sales target through effective implementation of planned selling and field promotion activities within the annual operating expense budget

Main Tasks & Responsibilities :

  1. Based on market, city & customer segmentation, roll out the go-to-market strategies, improve the sales productivity by city, customer & headcount in retail channel:
  2. Optimize the resources investment i.e. people deployment, ATL activities & commercial incentives, etc
  3. Focus on high productivity and high potential areas, cities & customers
  4. Roll out the journey cycle management for field operation sales team执行
  5. Closely work with regional top 10 Key ACs and build up the solid working relationship
  6. Establish the retail Key AC management model & build the tracking record based on KPIs for national & regional Key ACs; enhance on Key AC development strategies, trade marketing effectiveness, commercial policy, negotiation advantage, coverage with must-stock-list, merchandising improvement & sales team’s Key AC selling skills, etc
  7. Set up effective sales management systems, including controlling mechanisms (for sales figures, expense and customer information) and management practices (processes);systematic market and sales information collection and reporting systems i.e. itinerary plan, sales call reports, customer profile & market intelligence, and, ensures the same are implemented at all levels throughout the sales team hierarchy, and, to enable continuous and timely performance evaluation at various information granularity levels, so that major performance gaps can be identified early and fast decisions and corrective actions can be taken at the appropriate level.
  8. Provide realistic rolling demand forecasts in collaboration with NSD, marketing and Business Operation on a monthly basis to reflect the update in-market situation
  9. Through working closely with the team members, identify the room for improvements in terms of various knowledge and skills gaps and address the same by proactive evaluation feedback mechanisms and provision support of development and training programmes.
  10. Actively maintain resources investment tracking system (down to customer level).
  11. Enable Roche Diabetes Care to be customers’ preference and kept the position by building good working relationship with distributors, retail key ACs from customers’ decision making level to operation management levels.
  12. Work proactively with OTC marketing on campaign developments and leverage with professional activities in HCP channel, to ensure high-quality execution by field-force.
  13. Develop and implement a well-phased strategic distribution plan according to the fast evolving needs of the geographical coverage and new emerging channels needed of the diabetes care business expansion. Effectively communicate to the channel partners and devises appropriate channel or trade incentive policies to motivate and manage the key players in the distribution chain to achieve high performance as agreed with Roche.

Education & Qualifications:

At least Bachelor Degree in Business Degree

Good command of English in both spoken and written

Good command of MS office software application

At least 10-year Sales experience in OTC, personal care industry with at least 8 years in managerial role.
