Lab Engineer (To Microsoft, based in Zhuhai)

Job Description:
Laboratory engineer to assist product failure analysis and experimentation. This person will support electrical FA engineers to debug production failures.
He/she will be responsible for installing, trouble-shooting, repair, maintenance and calibration of test equipment within the laboratory. This person will be in charge of inventory management for equipment accessories like fixtures and probes and will assist in maintenance, purchase and upkeep of test equipment, and also, he/she will be responsible to maintain warranty, service and repair records, work with vendors to obtain needed tools, performs quality checks on newly delivered equipment, setup equipment usage rules to ensure proper operation.
This person will help electrical engineers to do soldering reworks base on given instructions.

Required Qualifications:
1. A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and 3 years' experience in the repair, maintenance and operation of electronic equipment
2. Ability to perform skilled work in manual soldering, reworking of PCBs and development of debug interfaces
3. Hands-on electrical testing/repairing experiences
4. Ability to understand complex rework instructions
5. Ability to understand/review/convey technical information for test equipment
6. Ability to organize and maintain accurate records and inventory
7. Possess the knowledge of tools, materials, computers, etc
8. Have good English communication skills
