Business Intelligence Developer


Product:Xbox Kinect Surface
The MSCIS Product Engineering team within the IEB organization is looking for a Business Intelligence Developer. The successful candidate for this position will be responsible for developing & sustaining reports from production database based on business requirements and to enhance data visibility and data accuracy.


The successful candidate will have significant experience in:
? Advanced level of writing stored procedures, reading query plans, and troubleshooting performance bottlenecks
? Review the code, design and requirement document created by peers and suggesting changes for continuous improvement of team's deliveries.
? Work closely with team to understand business logic to do query and making scripts, be able to define documents for reports requirements
? Develop and Support reporting and database solutions as per discussion with business users, requirements and design documents
? Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin
? Team Foundation Server, Product Studio and SharePoint expertise is a plus
Qualifications
? BS in Information Systems or Computer Science or equivalent is required
? At least 3 years in general database development using MS SQL 2008
? Ability to translate user reporting requirements into report solutions required
? Advanced level of writing stored procedures, reading query plans, and troubleshooting performance bottlenecks
