Job DescriptionMain job tasks:
Budget & cost control for CN-CMR
Lead the interpretation of budget & cost analysis from productivity and finance report
Collaborate with clinical operation members to set up trial and travel budget to ensure adequate budget to meet clinical activities
Work together with finance partner to provide budget and cost comparison report to improve budget setting and cost effectiveness (eg. RE2/AB)
Provide breakdown, benchmark and historical data analysis on trial cost to support vendor selection and negotiation effectiveness
Consolidate and forecast analyze CMR budget and cost with risk evaluation and provide recommendations to CMR VP and management with certain frequency
Provide high quality reporting to Finance Manager (FP&A), and submit according to deadline
Controlling to be performed according to Finance, Sarbox and internal/external audit requirements
Responsible for VP area budget in line overall plan and requirements from Finance Manager (FP&A), incl. submission to SAP, ClinCost, etc.
Resource and productivity management
Communicate and discuss with CN-CMR clinical operation manager to finish CN-CMR FTE monthly report and RE/AB FTE plan report in given timeline
Track CMR manning update(non-system) and provide add-hoc analysis
Provide recommendations to the CMR management team regarding strategic planning objectives by clearly identifying significant deployment improvement opportunities within CMR
Works directly with CMR team members in order to prioritize outputs and plan for the improvement of the Productivity with respect to the development of clinical trial benchmarks and process improvement opportunities
BSC & MMR
Leads the interpretation of BSC performance algorithm and responsible for provide CN-CMR BSC performance in a given frequency
Track all the Region-CN trial recruitment status and do risk analysis to ensure clinical team strictly implement trial activities
Collaborate HQ and CN-CMR on global trial allocation by combining resource management, budget and cost forecasting and productivity improvement
Support Region-CN on target setting by invest risk analysis to maximize resource and budget utilization
Ensure CMR monthly report to be finished on time
Project management & process improvement
Leading project for cross function/external customer project(esp for Finance/ productivity areas)
Responsible for making project plan, including timeline, resource, budget and delivery
Risk and stakeholder management to ensure project complete with high quality according to plan
Coordinate or project meeting, workshop or events to ensure project on going if needed

Education:
1) Bachelor Degree and above in business Administration (logic oriented and structural thinking)
2) Financial/Controlling knowledge must be a given
3) Excellent English fluency is a must for effective communication
4) Strong communication skill to both internal & external clients, including foreign customer with different culture background, abroad working experience preferred
Professional experience:
1) Two years and above working experience on analysis/consulting, preferably in medical or clinical area, with emphasis on business process analysis / re-engineering, budget control and other performance improvement activities.
2) Insightful thinking with disciplined execution to achieve budget control target, providing valuable advice on finance risk analysis and solution
3) Solid finance analytical capacity and conception ell and structured mind
4) Strong communication skill to lead cross function collaboration and integrate key business functions
5) Creativity and drive to generate ideas for
