About Internal Audit Team
Philips Internal Audit is primarily focused on carrying out a wide variety of audit reviews, such as strategic initiative reviews, business & process performance reviews and financial & compliance reviews - on a global scale. These cover all business processes within the Philips' business. The outcomes of the reviews are reported to business management and in some cases to the Philips Board of Management together with an agreed action plan for improvement.

Philips Internal Audit contributes to the creation of value by providing re-assurance that all major risks possibly impacting the achievement of Philips Strategic and Operational objectives are well understood and managed. Philips Internal Audit is a trusted Partner facilitating Philips Businesses, Countries and Functions to improve business process improvements and to increase value creation and ensure successful execution of business strategies. We are a catalyst for benchmark performance by enabling the exchange of best practices across Philips helping to create a platform for knowledge management.

Philips Internal Audit operates as a global team with over 15 different nationalities in six locations around the globe: Amsterdam, Eindhoven, Andover, Sao Paulo, Shanghai and Delhi.


Your responsibilities
You will join in one of our teams and be responsible for delivering high impact audit reviews addressing Philips risks.
You will lead and participate in audit reviews addressing strategic or business risks of Philips. The complexity of the reviews and impact on the business will increase during your time with Philips Internal Audit. The reviews will be prepared, executed and reported in line with world-class audit standards.
When leading a review you are the prime responsible establishing and maintaining a professional relationship with senior management and their teams.
You will participate in risk workshops establishing risk profiles for sectors or business groups/units.
Actively providing peer feedback and coaching to your colleagues throughout the audit engagements
You will also join a Knowledge Management Community, engaging in best-practice sharing, knowledge accumulation and actively share your knowledge with other Philips Internal Audit peers.

Working in one of Philips Corporate Staff Departments, you'll be at the heart of our worldwide company. These departments play a key role in supporting the Royal Philips Electronics Executive Committee. Whatever your role, you'll be helping implement Executive Committee decisions, measure our performance, set company-wide standards and drive corporate initiatives.

We are looking for
We are looking for experienced professionals with excellent track records - you have specific industry and/or functional expertise, and can lead and manage the reviews we execute. We expect you to be looking for new challenges, and that you enjoy challenging conventional thinking and offering unique perspectives.

You have an academic qualification. Professional certifications are not essential, but highly recognized. You have a minimum of 5 years relevant working experience in a multinational business environment (in- or outside Philips) covering one or more of the listed domains:
· Sales & Marketing;
· Finance;
· Purchasing;
· Supply Chain Management;
· Manufacturing;
· IT;
· HR;
· Other relevant cross-business functions. Philips runs SAP, hence to be effective and impactful SAP affinity and experience is a clear plus as is knowledge of Six Sigma or Lean.
We expect you to have a high drive and energy. Being a team player is essential. As all reviews are done in a team you have a proven ability to foster, build and manage a team-oriented environment. Acting as a trusted Partner to the business you can work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment as well as think through complex challenges and deliver results. You have excellent (written and oral) communication skills and know how to engage constructively with senior management and deal with significant exposure environments. Furthermore to be successful in this dynamic challenging environment you are self-confident, accurate, persistent, resilient and display high standards of integrity and able to handle various communication styles. In short, you have excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
