BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Works on the sanitary ware product technology development
Generate ideas, set up concept and execute the advanced technology development project
Benchmark analysis.
Complete the 3D CAD design referring to the concepts
Prototype making
Prototype testing and analysis
To establish product technical standard and specifications to implement during new product development

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Works on designing Mechanic-electronic appliance, especially mechanical system of plastic, rubber and metal
2. Leads engineering subtasks involving the design, fabrication, validation, and manufacture of subassemblies, systems, processes, equipment or facilities;
3. Work with other departments like ID/Marketing/QA to push new product development ahead smoothly
4. Conceives and plans engineering subtasks to explore product or process problems; defines and selects new concepts and approaches to the design or development of new or improved products, processes, equipment or facilities;
5. Establish standard and test procedure for new products, follow up and ensure standards realized in new product with high quality
6. Receives general direction; exercises considerable discretion as to personal work details as well as the work details of other technical personnel;
7. Coordinates activities with other functional areas, suppliers, contractors and consultants.
8. Work as a system architect to be responsible for all electron mechanical components/system integration.
9. Work with marketing team to collect the latest competitor product info and do the performance benchmark as needed.
10. Support Program team in product specifications/scope definition, cost analysis, and feasibility study.
11. Support sourcing team in component/system sourcing and qualification process; proactively
12. Collect potential supplier information during advanced development stage.

REQUIREMENTS
1. Creative thinking
2. Strong Hands-on skill
3. Familiar with 6 sigma (DMAIC & DFSS)
4. Must be skilled to Pro/E
5. Bachelor's Degree or above in Mechanical (or relevant) is required
6. Over 5 years experience at mechanical design or industry automation
7. Fluent in English on writing and oral preferred
8. Willing to take challenge under pressure
9. Willing to travel
