Job Summary:
Warehouse Supervisor assists Project Warehouse Management in fulfilling objectives; Responsible for supporting procedures in receiving, storing and issuing material. Deals with labors, machines and equipment.

Reporting Line:
The Warehouse Supervisor functionally reports to the Project Warehouse Manager.

Major Responsibilities:
??Monitors assigned project warehouse operation as directed by the owner.
??Responsible for the control of materials and supervision of warehouse and lay-down area in the assigned project/unit.
??Supervises the warehouse workers in their duties.
??Conducts safety meetings jointly with safety engineer in a weekly basis.
??Ensures that subordinates comply with all valid safety requirements and that construction equipment and tools are kept in a safe condition.
??Responsible for the safe and good working conditions of the shelves, racks or other storage equipment in- and outside the warehouse. Weekly inspection should be done together with safety engineer.
??Ensures high level of security with assistance of available guards and necessary material.
??Conducts material preservation method together with warehouse workers in accordance with the storing and packing instructions of the materials received.
??Conducts training for workers and assists in the scheduled housekeeping duties on a daily basis.
??Maintains material satisfactory condition in partnership with the warehouse personnel.
??Asses the amount and types of warehouse storage space needed according to the construction schedule and delivery schedule.
??Responsible for arranging of warehouse indoor storage if materials needed to store inside warehouse.
??Preparing detailed receiving plan such as the location of unloading referring to document, which shows actual shipping status, working hand in hand with Project Material Coordinator.
??Responsible for equipment availability in unloading materials. Scheduling of forklift and mobile crane if needed.
??Monitors the preparation and usage of all material control documents.
??Conducts inventory of materials together with the warehouse workers. Frequency of materials inventory is depending on the volume of materials received.
??Responsible for Open Box Inspection (OBI) together with related Material Coordinator and Discipline Engineer.
??Prepares Materials Inspection Checklist (MIC) for the preparation of Material Receiving Report (MRR) by the Data Entry Clerk.
??If Overage, Shortage, Damage (OSD) is found during the Open Box Inspection, report shall be made immediately to inform the Material Coordinator for inquiry to the vendor.
??Warehouse Supervisor informs and follows up with Project Material Coordinator for the long period of open OSD.
??Upon the receiving of Material Issuing Report (MIR) or Material Withdrawal Request (MWR), materials are to be prepared for issuing to subcontractor under Warehouse Supervisors responsibility. Depending on the volume of the request, one day notice in advance before the pick up date of materials is mandatory.
??Returned materials from subcontractor will be carefully checked by the warehouse supervisor before noting the returned materials inventory report. This material is to be kept in a place that will not mix with new materials.
??Materials that are transferred or delivered directly to construction site, subcontractor area or lay-down area is under the responsibility of the Material Coordinator. But spare parts and other small things, that are not needed for construction, shall be delivered to the central warehouse with the supervision of warehouse supervisor.
??Supervises the pick up of scrap goods and/or rubbish materials in warehouse or lay-down area.
??Prepares unloading plan for the forecasted arrival of materials.
??Responsible for preparation of spaces for storage of materials.
??Responsible to keep the warehouse area and lay-down area clean all the time.

??Working Experience: At least 4 years of working experience in chemical project. Experience in engineering company preferred; Experience in multinational company is a plus

??Requirements on language skills
English: Fluent-written & oral
Chinese: Native speaker
