Job Purpose
Primary purpose of the role – briefly describe in one or two sentences why the job exists:
Daily Operation – Align 4 regions linehaul operation and problem solving, develop operation excellence standard and responsible for optimization, load plan, efficiency, minimize damage and lost, POD return management, TMS system and process improvement. In charge of own fleet and engineering team and subcontracting management. Product Development – Understand the market, expand capabilities, understand customer requirement linked with daily operation cost model, product lead and solution for national bid. |

Key Working Relationships
The most significant and most common working relationships relating to the role. Detail the nature of the relationship and the frequency of the interaction:
SHA, BJS, TSN, TAO, CAN, SZX Hub Manager – daily operation problem solving and process improvement; daily lane and truck load utilization BD and Costing team – national bid review, understand bid requirement, provide operation input and solution, work with costing team for correct cost model. Finance and Costing team – weekly revenue, cost, to review account and lane profitability |
Resource Management
16 Engineer + 59 Own Fleet Management and Driver – monthly spending around RMB 1M; this role is to manage the cost saving and fully utilization of own trucks to increase profitability and provide quality service Subcontracting Manager and Transportation Manager – RMB 10M+ subcontracting cost, set up KPI and subcontracting management |
