Job Title: Senior Manager, Solution Design (Anji CEVA)

Job Purpose

Primary purpose of the role – briefly describe in one or two sentences why the job exists:
The purpose of this role is to support the Director Business Development in the achievement of the department’s new business targets and contribution to the ANJI-CEVA strategy.

Key result areas are defined as revenue growth, EBIT performance, development/implementation of business strategy, penetration within established/new market sectors, as well as standardisation and smart solution initiatives.

Key performance area and measurements

• As a strategic leader of the business, the Senior Manager, Solution Design is responsible for providing direction and inspiration to the solution design team to achieve CEVA and ANJI-CEVA’s new business and growth objectives. The role contributes to the articulation and drive of the department vision, structure, processes, proposal signoff and improvement initiatives as well as team training & development plans to ensure achievement of the strategic objectives & long term success.
• The position actively promotes engagement across members of the BD team along with other CEVA departments / divisions / business units / external specialists. The objective being to facilitate the sharing of knowledge and the building of business relationships for the development of robust logistics solutions and the pursuit of supply chain solution excellence.
• The role must also maintain a “customer presence” for the exploration and development of new business opportunities within the non SAIC markets. Specifically the Senior Manager, Solution Design provides senior leadership in regards to the development, design and presentation of advanced logistics solutions to potential customers with a view of achieving the lowest total cost and most effective supply chain design. The responsibility extends to include the promotion of the CEVA brand, pipeline development/maintenance, opportunity evaluation and back office support functions.
• The Senior Manager, Solution Design creates a values based leadership culture, through meaningful relationships and connections with people at all organisational levels both within and external to ANJI-CEVA.
• Further the Senior Manager, Solution Design is responsible for the evaluation, selection, development and application of supply chain modelling tools, new technology, emulation/cost models, standardisation initiatives, SMART solutions and sector expertise.

Desired Skills & Experience

Bachelor degree or above in Logistics related major
Advanced knowledge and high level of expertise in developing complex supply chain solutions
Tertiary qualifications with a focus on Supply Chain Management
Advances skills in Microsoft suite of applications (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word)
CEVA Commercial rules & BD Best Practise
ZDS Methodology
Risk Management Training
Modelling capability – Cast, Paregon etc
Minimum 3 years operational experience
Minimum 3-5 years Business Development experience (Analytical and BDM)
