SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES
In support of the automotive business department, performs a combination of administrative, operational and account management tasks to support the business transactions in cooperation with the customer teams. Works in an international team environment with Bose cross functional teams including Product Planning, Engineering, Marketing, Logistics, Manufacturing, Purchasing in China with interface to Bose U.S. headquarters to accomplish customer objectives.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Responsible for understanding customer needs and documenting these in Bose systems to ensure business can be conducted.
a. Receives customer documents (purchase orders, requests, and electronic documentation) from account manager and inputs order specifics into SAP computer system and or posted on Bose intranet sites for proper review. Responsible for establishing customer accounts in SAP system, price and part number entries and updates, and generating invoices for shipments as necessary.
b.Responsible for one or more of the following activities: checks and verifies records, prepares invoices and vouchers, and or may follow up on accounts receivable issues with customer. Uses SAP system to input data, generate reports, and responds to customer inquiries.
c.Represents organization unit on administrative matters. Recommends, interprets and or implements company and internal policies and procedures
2.Liaise with customer to support customer team and to enable team to realize customer goals.
a.Resolves pricing, payment, other terms and conditions, or other simple discrepancies directly with customer. If issue is unresolved, the issue is then turned over to the senior account manager.
b.Responsible for independent correspondence with customer in Chinese or English.
c.Support customer teams by preparing customer quotations and presentation documents as needed.
d.Support customer teams by coordinating presentations, meetings and discussions with customer.
e. Support customer return process by requesting quality documents for customer returns with either customer and or internally to process debit/credits.
f.Coordinate and post customer report cards on Bose website.
3.Responsible for data management and analysis of customer data.
a. Provides info and reports to teams and management based on analysis related to contracts and customer requirements. Also provides inputs related to monthly sales report.
b.Provides administrative assistance to project management team, and prepares status reports and documents often through the use of computerized systems.

4.Perform other duties related to continuous improvement and as assigned.
a. To the extent that the above processes are repetitive and can be automated, responsible to seek ways to automate these processes.
b.Also support custom, duty and VAT process as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
Education:University degree preferred in Business, Management, or Engineering or minimum of 5 years of automotive account support experience.
Good command of both oral and written English (CET6 required)
Team player, intern experience at MNC preferred.
Skilled with Office software and knowledge of SAP would be helpful.
REPORTS TO
Initially China Business Manager (Bose US), but will take day to day direction from China Business Planner and China Senior Account Manager (Shanghai).
