Job Duties:
- Ensure the day to day system operation can be performed and finished within the prescribed time schedule and close monitor the system and network performance;
- Pick up service calls and provides timely IT support to users;
- Carry out remedial tasks to resume desktop/system services;
- Supports in user maintenance like rebuild raid, reset encoder/decoder etc, are undertaken within agreed time scales and updates all related user records.

- Ensure equipment is clearly and correctly labeled and managed;

- Reports all unusual occurrences to the immediate superior;

- Document and update the related system manuals and guides periodically;

- Ensure that all the output signal can be normal for broadcast system..

- Responsible for Raid management, Duty management, Encoder/Decoder and Powersupply maintenance;

- Responsible for problem management by logging all faults and escalating problems to the correct support agency in a timely manner without affecting business;

- Carry out / participate in contingency drills of various levels: on air level, demo level;

- Monitor server capacity utilization and escalate to immediate superior if any server / system is reaching any capacity threshold values;

- Performs system enhancement, program releases and new system implementation;

- Arrange and assist end User in the new system/desktop installation/relocation.



Requirements:

- Understanding the needs of both internal and external customers and be committed to delivering an excellent service;

- Ability to work well with others in pursuit of business aims;

- Energy, enthusiasm and commitment to the business unit;

- Positive response to and recognition of the need for change;

- Ability to make realistic decisions and is willing to take the responsibility for acting on their own initiative;

- High standards of integrity and the ability to motivate self/others towards continuous performance improvement and personal development;

- Sound technical knowledge on the related business areas. (Holder of MCSE or CNNA is preferable );

- Good knowledge on Windows NT/2000/XP/2003, proficient in PC skills ;

- Good command of application software, including MS Office, SQL Server, Lotus Domino/Notes, Symantec Antivirus software, etc.(2 years contract)
