Responsibilities:
Provide daily administration work to databases within the company, and carry out backup, disaster recovery, performance analysis, tuning, and security management.
Be responsible for the installation, design, configuration and management of DBMS within the company.
Take a leading role on data modeling and database design with performance considerations.
Assist with analyzing the data stored in databases and make recommendations relating to performance and efficiency of the data storage.
Establish standards and best practices for SQL scripting.
Be in charge of other database management work in the company, including document management, database statistics and reports generation.
Proactively monitoring client databases and their usage to identify potential issues and inefficiencies and suggest continuous improvements.
Job Required:
10+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA
5+ years of experience as an MSSQL DBA
Oracle DB Versions: 9i/10g/11g
MS SQL DB Version: MSSQL 2005/
RAC and non-RAC
Oracle RMAN expertise
Factory Manufacturing System Experience Background, better in semiconductor industry
Solaris Unix/RedHat Linux experience
