Product Planning Manager-(美国医疗设备行业,新建亚太区研发中心,薪资优厚,有海外培训机会)
Job title: Product Planning Manager
Reporting line: R&D department, Tailor Product Director
Subordinates: Temporary Not Directly, but will lead external resource, including marketing research company, competitor intelligence company etc.
Location: Shanghai
Duties and Responsibilities:
Work with strategic and upstream marketing managers in the EM organization and Global Business Units to define strategy for the development of projects within a category of effort for Tailored Product in China/Asia.
Candidate will be responsible for mapping out the vascular therapy medical space in China, identifying and prioritizing critical business opportunities, developing an action plan to address those opportunities, and executing upon the plan. Candidate must be experienced enough to address concerns that may arise along the lines of: organizational strategy, competitive environment, distribution channel, marketing implications of technical requirement decisions, marketing/clinical/regulatory interactions, and other areas as appropriate.
Convert market inputs to customer requirements for project(s) leveraging a variety of inputs including traditional quantitative and qualitative market research, empathic needs identification, rapid prototype feedback, as well as other methods as they may apply. Work closely with the technical team members to map customer requirements to specific technical requirements.
Review potential project concepts within category for preliminary feasibility, as well as the development and execution of plans to dive further into project feasibility, including market sizing, competitive analysis, clinical/regulatory/reimbursement/legal assessments in partnership with the relevant functions, specifying Go-to-Market strategy and identification of key go/no-go decision points.
Serve as the primary marketing point of contact for category and select project(s). Create and deliver presentations to senior management on project evaluations and project status updates. Establish relationships with Key Opinion Leaders to drive project(s) forward.
Candidate must be capable of executing duties with minimal direction from superiors and have experience achieving results through a combination of personal effort as well as managing through others.
Job Qualification:
Education:
Master's Degree in Business, Engineering, or the Life Sciences;
MBA preferred.
Experience:
5-8 years of relevant work experience; preferably in market research, venture capital, private equity, or product marketing in medical device company.
3-5 years of technical background from medical device industry preferred
